Admin Assistant

Compensation: from $20-25

10-15 hours/week

Employment type: part-time

Responsibilities:

Administrative Support

  • Manage and coordinate daily operations and administrative tasks
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and general correspondence in a timely manner
  • Maintain organized filing systems, both digital and physical
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and classes
  • Process membership applications and maintain member database

Financial Administration

  • Process payments and handle basic bookkeeping tasks
  • Manage invoicing and accounts receivable
  • Track and order office and fitness supplies
  • Assist with budget tracking and expense reports

Client Relations

  • Serve as first point of contact for clients and visitors
  • Handle client inquiries and provide information about programs and services
  • Assist with member registration and orientation processes
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients and staff

Program Support

  • Help maintain class schedules and instructor assignments
  • Support the organization of special events and workshops
  • Assist with marketing efforts and social media updates

Facility Management Support

  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of facility
  • Coordinate with maintenance and cleaning services
  • Assist in ensuring all equipment and spaces are properly maintained
  • Help maintain safety and security protocols

Qualified candidates will possess the following skills, abilities and experience in addition to being available to work regularly scheduled hours both in person and from home Mon-Friday + occasionally on weekends. This job can be combined with another job within the organization for more hours.
