Regular and Sub Instructors Needed

Monterey Bay Moves offers a wide variety of classes and needs instructor to teach regular classes and act as substitute on our roster.

The more versatile you are, the better!

Compensation: from $25-$50 per hour (depending on experience and certifications)

Employment type: part-time

This position requires you to be a certified pilates teacher and have CPR certification.

This is your chance to start teaching a class here and there and eventually have a regular class – or start off with an established class as well!

Preferred availability – you don’t have to be available at all of these times, but if you are available at one or many of these times, that’s preferred:

  • 9:15 Monday or Friday
  • 5:00PM Wednesday or Thursday
  • 6:00PM Wednesday or Thursday
  • 7:00PM Sunday

Qualified candidates will possess the following skills, abilities and experience in addition to being available to work a regular schedule of 1 to 3 hours/week (weekdays, evenings and/or weekends).

Requirements

  • MUST be a certified in one or many of the following disciplines (yoga, pilates, core training, personal training, sound healing)
  • Current CPR and AED Certifications (or in process of getting them)
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Experience and other fitness-related certifications is required

  • Arrive punctually for all scheduled sessions and classes
